2- stewardship content training (talk about that in Acts with leaders)
3- class of 2016 fup (check with Kate usually come in in 6-8 months
For this month.
Parent MPD.
Blue Ridge does this best. Minimal plan: send letter to parents. Siblings, grandparents -- people who care about your spiritual well-being in college.
To-Do - October
(1) draft parent letter based on Ryan's template.
(2) senior programming. Think about it. Structure and content. Imp. that we help them transition and talk about money. What do we want to do with senior programming. Weekly senior SG, monthly meal (hosted by ministry partners), senior retreat. What do we want to cover? List of book resources from Ryan (buy them a book and read it together. church, evangelism post college, work and calling, money).
BUT, we all should do a class gift ask, as an experiment.
-budget exercise: what do you do if some unexpected expense or boon (inheritance gift) comes in?
-why giving is important
-class gifts. What kind of class gift can we do that has eternal impact. What can we give for the next three years. He gives them a range. Average gift $75, but range $10-$300. What will be your pledge for the next three years? Class officer appointed as liason, reporter, holds accountable, plans class reunion. Their questions are good. They have ownership. Qs about overhead, where the money goes, etc. Communal engagement and accountability.
November
- alumni letter re fall conference or something of interest to alum
- parent letter
- finalize senior programming
