Many Oneida don't want photos shared, real issue here with privacy/rights. She has over 10,000 photos, many copies. Restored photos of Chiefs, etc. She and Loretta Metoxin butt heads over this issue on one of Loretta's books. She got caught in the middle of a "duplication of services" dispute between cultural heritage, the library's holdings, and the museum and ended up quitting her job with tribe. On disability, but worked for a while at Holy Apostles.

"…under the influence of such beliefs, a community's widows, elderly, and orphans often become scapegoats for the wealthy, powerful, or otherwise enfranchised members of the community." Witchcraft defined, not as divination or traditional healing, but bas spiritual practices with evil intentions to cause evil events (sickness, infertility, financial problems and death). "Haruna Tukurah, a Nigerian pastor with Evangelical Church Winning All and director of an orphanage, reported that 250 out of his 300 orphaned children had been accused of being witches." (p31)
